Kerstin and Markus live in Perchtoldsdorf, a charming market town near Vienna, renowned for its winemaking heritage. A few years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Kerstin\u2019s sister\u2019s wedding, so I was delighted to receive another assignment within the same family.
I began the day by capturing Kerstin\u2019s getting ready moments in their home. We were all hoping the weather would cooperate, and luckily, the rain held off, allowing them to hold their ceremony outdoors in the beautiful Hugo Wolf Garden. After the ceremony, I took a few group photos in the courtyard, before we made our way to Restaurant Alexander. There, Kerstin and Markus surprised us with a lovely sweet table and the traditional cake cutting.
We had an hour for wedding portraits, which we spent in the scenic sloping vineyards surrounding the town. The dramatic clouds and even a rainbow in the sky made for a stunning backdrop. Upon our return to Restaurant Alexander, the guests released balloons into the sky in a sweet, memorable moment.
Next, we entered the dining room, which was beautifully decorated with vintage touches. Markus and a few guests shared heartfelt speeches, and after dinner, the newlyweds shared their first dance. The music was provided by DJ Christoph Baumert, and his team created an unforgettable atmosphere, turning the evening into a fantastic celebration for all.<\/p>\n\n\n
