08 Oct Pre-Wedding Photography in the Netherlands | Anna + Csanad

Anna and Csanád are originally from Hungary but currently reside in the Netherlands due to career opportunities. I’ve known Csanád for a long time as a friend, and I was thrilled to create a wedding portrait series for them in the Netherlands—especially since Csanád also has a passion for photography and enjoys taking pictures in his free time.
Since they live in Uitgeest, in the province of North Holland, we began the photo session in front of a local windmill. Windmills are a quintessential part of the Dutch landscape and history. We then traveled to Alkmaar, famous for its traditional cheese market and popular among tourists. The city’s charming canals and colorful buildings offered a wonderfully moody setting for wedding photography, reminiscent of Amsterdam. We concluded the portrait session by the Atlantic Ocean at Egmond aan Zee, capturing the serene beach atmosphere, and we even stopped to photograph a lighthouse on our way to the shore.
