22 Jun Bad Ischl Engagement Photography | The Alps, Austria | Karina + Kevin

After completing our pre-wedding photo shoot in Hallstatt (you can view the images here), we had planned to capture the sunset at Attersee, Austria’s largest lake, located 40 kilometers away. Since Hallstatt is surrounded by towering mountains, it’s not possible to capture the sunset there. As we drove around Bad Ischl, running a bit short on time, I noticed a stunning meadow bathed in sunset light, prompting us to abandon the Attersee plan. The scene was breathtaking, with gently rolling hills, tall grass, vast fields, and beautiful trees, all framed by the towering Alps in the distance.
Karina’s magenta pink dress and Kevin’s light blue shirt perfectly complemented the lush green pastures and the warm orange hues of the setting sun. The soft light illuminated their faces beautifully, capturing the couple in their most joyful moments. With just one hour before the sun disappeared behind the horizon, I managed to take countless memorable photos.
